Put to sleep for extractions

If I have to get a tooth extracted, but am afraid of a dental needle, can I go to a dental hospital and be put to sleep? If so, can they do the three  fillings I need at the same time?

You won’t have to go to a hospital to deal with your dental fear. Instead you can go to a dentist who does sedation dentistry. There are lots of different forms of sedation. You can have nitrous oxide ( also known as laughing gas), which will relax you, but you’ll be aware of your surroundings. You can do oral sedation, which will put you in a sleepy state and you may not remember the procedure. Or, you can get IV sedation. Whichever type of sedation you choose, they should be able to do all your procedures at that appointment.
